Supporting Athletes with the Sporting Chance Foundation

Creating meaningful and enduring change within the Indigenous community

Sunshine Coast Orthopaedic Group Director
A/Prof Daevyd Rodda is also the Director and founder of a Not -For -Profit Foundation,
Sporting Chance Foundation.

The primary purpose of the Sporting Chance Foundation is to help aspiring athletes from the Indigenous community get back to their respective sport following a sporting injury. Its about minimising the stumbling blocks that a musculoskeletal injury can present to young Indigenous athletes, provide them with the right treatment and keep them on the path to success and most importantly get them back on the field.

For more information about Sporting Chance Foundation or how we can help you get back on the field, please get in touch. Athletes can contact us directly or obtain a referral through their local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Service or GP.
